ESL FACEIT Group, a leading esports tournament organizer, has officially announced the return of its flagship events, DreamHack Dallas and IEM Dallas, in 2025. Both events are set to take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from May 23rd to May 25th.
The 2024 edition of DreamHack Dallas was a massive success, attracting over 55,000 attendees from all 50 U.S. states and 58 different countries. This turnout made it the largest DreamHack festival to date. The event featured a variety of activities, including esports tournaments, LAN parties, cosplay competitions, and interactive experiences for gaming enthusiasts. For the 2025 event, applications for content creators are now officially open.
IEM Dallas 2025 will once again host 16 top-tier Counter-Strike teams, battling it out over six days for the championship title. The tournament kicks off with the group stage on May 19th, followed by the playoffs starting on May 23rd. While the prize pool details are yet to be announced, IEM Dallas remains a key part of the Intel Grand Slam series, where teams can compete for an impressive $1 million (~£789,620) prize by securing victories across multiple ESL tournaments throughout the year.
The North American market remains a top priority for ESL FACEIT Group. In November, the organization selected Raleigh, North Carolina, as the host city for the ESL One Dota 2 event in 2025. This marks the first ESL One event in the United States in six years, further emphasizing the group’s commitment to the region.
DreamHack’s influence extends beyond the United States. In India, the festival has grown into the country’s largest gaming event. Its 2024 edition featured high-profile tournaments, including the Snapdragon Pro Series, Call of Duty Mobile, BGMI, and VALORANT competitions.
