Developer Byterunners and publisher Movie Games have announced that Drug Dealer Simulator 2 has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. This impressive milestone was achieved in just over five months since the game’s release on June 20, 2024, for PC.
The sequel’s success has also boosted sales of the original Drug Dealer Simulator, with 137,000 copies sold since the second game launched. While the total sales figures for the series remain undisclosed, the strong performance highlights its growing popularity.
Byterunners is now focused on expanding the franchise with a major DLC for Drug Dealer Simulator 2. The update will introduce a new open-world location and storyline, allowing players to explore another illicit trade—casinos. Additionally, the series is set to collaborate with Netflix’s hit show Narcos, bringing more immersive experiences for fans.
Notably, Drug Dealer Simulator 2 sold its first 100,000 copies within 10 days of release, with gaming expert Simon Carless estimating its revenue at $1.76 million during that period.
