DreamHack Dallas has announced its complete lineup of competitive gaming events scheduled for May 23-25 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. The festival will feature multiple esports tournaments with over $2 million in total prizes.
The event marks the return of Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) to North America, where 16 top teams will compete for the ESL Pro Tour Masters trophy, $1 million in prize money, and valuable VRS points. According to DreamHack, this tournament represents one of the major highlights of the three-day festival.
Call of Duty enthusiasts can look forward to the Call of Duty League Major IV, the final Major of the season. Twelve professional teams will battle for CDL points to secure their spots in the 2025 Call of Duty League Championship later this year.
Additionally, the Call of Duty Challengers Open will provide amateur players with a pathway to the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The winning team earns a direct invitation to the World Cup, while the runners-up qualify for the Call of Duty Challengers Championship.
Making its North American debut at DreamHack Dallas is Brawl Stars with the Brawl Cup. Eight elite teams from around the world will compete over three days for $50,000 and unlock additional World Finals or Last Chance Qualifier spots for their regions.
Women’s Counter-Strike 2 takes center stage with ESL Impact Season 7, featuring the top eight all-women teams from Europe, South America, and North America. These teams will compete for a share of a $250,000 prize pool throughout the event.
Halo fans won’t be left out as the Halo Championship Series offers teams a chance to win part of a $150,000 grand prize and earn valuable pro points through the HCS Open Series across all three days.
GeoGuessr, the popular geography-based game, makes its North American tournament debut at DreamHack Dallas with a GeoGuessr Major. The event will bring together top “virtual explorers” to compete for $17,500 and qualification points for the 2025 GeoGuessr World Finals. As per DreamHack’s press release, participants include 2024 World Final runner-up ‘MK’, top-ranked U.S. player ‘Radu’, and Canadian player ‘Fau’, among other notable competitors.
For gaming enthusiasts who want to join the action themselves, DreamHack Dallas offers its BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN Party. This competition welcomes gamers of all skill levels to compete across 11 different games including Marvel Rivals, Valorant, and Fortnite, with $8,000 in total prizes.
Following the success of DreamHack Dallas 2024, which drew over 55,000 attendees from 50 states and 58 countries, the 2025 edition aims to be even bigger.
