The ESL Impact Circuit for Counter-Strike 2 is set to bring the best all-women teams into intense international competition. Launched in 2022 as part of ESL’s #GGFORALL initiative, this circuit aims to combat “discrimination, promote mental well-being, and advance sustainability within esports.”
With exciting new details about the 2025 season, here’s everything you need to know, including key dates, the format, and other crucial information.
Prize Pool and Regions
The 2025 ESL Impact Circuit will feature a total prize pool of $300,000, divided across two seasons. Participants will represent three regions: Europe, North America, and South America.
Season 7’s finals will be held in Dallas, Texas, at DreamHack Dallas, while Season 8’s finals are set to take place in Stockholm, Sweden.
Additionally, ESL and #GGFORALL are dedicating $700,000 in 2025 to support teams, enhance visibility, and encourage content creation within the ESL Impact ecosystem.
Tournament Format
The year-long ESL Impact Circuit is divided into two seasons:
- Season 7: Runs from January to May 2025.
- Season 8: Spans from August to November 2025.
Each season has a similar three-stage structure:
- Open Qualifiers: Two qualifying rounds per region filter the top teams.
- Main Season: The 28 strongest teams compete online.
- Grand Finals: The top eight teams (four from Europe, two from North America, and two from South America) battle live to claim the championship title.
This format ensures representation from all competitive regions while maintaining high standards for progression.
