AA Gaming and TMG Esports have teamed up to launch the Caribbean Clash tournament with a prize pool of INR 6 Lakh, open to all gaming teams across India.

The tournament coincides with the beta release of AA Gaming’s new AA Play app, which aims to bring a fresh approach to the esports community. According to Akash Dhangar, Founder and CEO of AA Gaming, “The Caribbean Clash marks a significant milestone for us as we are also launching the beta version of our AA Play app with this tournament. The app will currently feature tournaments and community engagement, with plans to integrate the digital marketplace and fintech in future updates.

Dhangar further explained the vision behind the new platform, stating that “Esports is evolving into a leading form of interactive entertainment, and with AA Play, we aim to create a ‘gamertainment’ experience that connects with the masses.”

Registration Details and Tournament Structure

Teams interested in participating can register through the AA Play website until March 31st. The tournament structure requires each team to have four main players with the option to include two additional substitutes. With space for up to 2048 teams in the qualifying rounds, spots are expected to fill quickly.

The tournament follows a multi-stage format designed to identify the best talent while giving newcomers a chance to prove themselves:

  • Qualifying Rounds: April 1-6 (Open to all registered teams)
  • Pre-quarterfinals: Following the qualifiers, the top 40 teams will advance and join 24 invited professional squads
  • Quarterfinals: April 9-11 (32 teams)
  • Semifinals: April 12-13 (24 teams)
  • Grand Finals: April 14-16 (16 teams)

The competition culminates in an exciting three-day final event featuring 18 total matches, with six matches played each day to determine the ultimate champion. Esports enthusiasts can catch all the action from the pre-quarterfinals stage onwards through live broadcasts on YouTube.

Professional Teams and Broadcasting

The tournament has attracted significant attention from the esports community, with many of India’s top gaming organizations receiving invitations to participate. The impressive roster of invited teams includes GodLike Esports, Team Soul, Revenant XSpark, and several other prominent names in the Indian esports scene.
