Candy Crush All Stars Tournament

Candy Crush fans, get your swiping fingers ready! The Candy Crush All Stars tournament is back for its fifth year with an eye-popping $1 million prize pool up for grabs. The competition kicked off on March 20th, inviting puzzle enthusiasts from around the world to show off their candy-matching skills.

This two-month showdown will eventually narrow down to just 10 finalists who’ll jet off to Los Angeles for a live final. There, they’ll battle it out for the championship title and their slice of the million-dollar pie.

The tournament follows a player-friendly format with multiple chances to advance. The structure includes qualifier rounds (running now through March 27), knockout stages, and a live final in Los Angeles.

The first knockout rounds run from March 27th to March 31st, but don’t worry if you get eliminated early! King has thoughtfully included two “Second Chance” opportunities – one from March 31st to April 3rd and another from April 7th to April 10th.

Things heat up with the second knockout phase from April 3rd to April 7th. According to tournament organizers, the final knockout stage is where competitors really need to bring their A-game, with three intense rounds spanning from April 10th to April 27th. While we’re still waiting on the exact date for the Los Angeles finale, it promises to be the highlight of the Candy Crush calendar.

Want to join in? The rules are pretty straightforward. As per the official guidelines, you need to be at least 18 years old and have reached level 5 or higher in Candy Crush Saga. The competition welcomes players from 23 different markets worldwide.

Last year’s tournament numbers were absolutely mind-boggling. Tournament data revealed that 15 million players participated, smashing through 2.2 billion levels and collecting a staggering 11.4 trillion All Stars Candies.

King clearly values this annual competition. In previous statements, Luken Aragon, King’s VP of marketing for Candy Crush Saga, highlighted the importance of the All Stars event in keeping the game’s massive community engaged and excited.

“Looking to the future, we’ll continue to put our players at the heart of everything we do at King. So, if our players want more Candy Crush All Stars, we’ll always do our best to deliver. We will continue to find new ways to surprise and deliver unexpected and fun experiences, with a player-first approach.”

With its perfect blend of casual fun and serious competition, the fifth annual Candy Crush All Stars tournament continues to be one of mobile gaming’s most accessible yet thrilling competitions. May the best candy crusher win!
