Gamescom Latam has revealed the ten nominees for the Best Brazilian Game award.
These games will be showcased at the second annual Gamescom Latam Big Festival at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil, from May 1 to May 4, 2025.
The winner will be announced on May 2, 2025, during a special awards ceremony.
This year’s nominated games include a diverse range of titles such as Corebreaker, Cyberwar: Neon City, Deathbound, and Debtors’ Club. Several of these games previously appeared in the event’s Panorama Brasil showcase and have now advanced to compete for the national category award.

Beyond awards shows, several major gaming companies have confirmed their participation in the event. Level Infinite, known for publishing popular titles like Honor of Kings, PUBG Mobile, and Warhammer 40k, will return for the third consecutive year.
South Korean company Gravity will also make a comeback featuring their MMORPG titles – Gunbound and Ragnarök Latin America.
Michael Steranka, Senior Director of Pokémon GO, will attend the event for the first time in Brazil. During his panel, Steranka will discuss Pokémon GO as a “forever game” and share insights on the evolution and future of augmented reality games.
Niantic has planned special in-game activities for attendees, including exclusive missions and Pokémon encounters. Additionally, for the first time, general admission credentials will feature exclusive Pokémon-themed artwork, creating a special collectible souvenir for visitors.
