In August, Black Myth Wukong emerged as the highest-grossing game across six key markets – the US, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy – per Newzoo report.
It topped the PC charts while ranked third on PlayStation, only behind popular titles like Fortnite and EA Sports Madden NFL 25.
On the other hand, The First Descendant experienced “a steep decline” in revenue between June and August. This suggests that while the game may have initially gained attention, it struggled to maintain its momentum afterward.
