BGIS 2025 Tournament Format
The BGIS 2025 tournament follows a structured multi-stage format, allowing both amateur and professional teams to compete. Here’s a breakdown of each phase:
- In-Game Qualifiers (Jan 25 – Feb 2)
- All registered teams can participate.
- Each team plays 15 matches, with their top 10 results considered.
- Top-performing teams advance to Round 1.
- The Grind (Feb 5 – 23)

- 64 invited pro teams compete in four weekly groups with the Top teams from each group advancing progressively to the next rounds.
- Week 1 (Group D): Top 8 advance to Round 2, bottom 8 to Round 1.
- Week 2 (Group C): Top 8 proceed to Round 3, others to Round 2.
- Week 3 (Group B): Top 8 move to Round 4, others to Round 3.
- Week 4 (Group A): The top 8 enter the Quarterfinals, and others go to Round 4.
- 64 invited pro teams compete in four weekly groups with the Top teams from each group advancing progressively to the next rounds.

- 1024 teams compete in 64 groups, playing six matches each.
- The top 7 teams from each group (Total 48) move to Round 2.
- Round 2 (Feb 27 – Mar 2)
- 512 teams split into 32 groups.

- Round 3 (Mar 6 – 9)
- 256 teams play across 16 groups.
- The top 6 teams from each group proceed to Round 4.
- Round 4 (Mar 13 – 16)
- 128 teams compete across eight groups.
- The top 7 teams from each group move to the Quarterfinals and Wildcard Round.
- Quarterfinals (Mar 20 – 23)
- 64 teams compete.
- The top 16 moves to the Semifinals Week 1.
- Wildcard Round (Mar 24 – 27)
- 64 Remaining teams get another chance to qualify for the Semifinals.
