dacha-2024

The new year kickstarts with sizzling news for Dota 2 esports fans as organizer BetBoom confirms not one, but two million-dollar BetBoom Dacha tournaments in 2024.

This dramatically expands the prize pool and scope from last year’s maiden $250K series.

In the wake of the recent cancellation of Valve’s Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), these tournaments bring a fresh wave of excitement and opportunity for both the competitive scene and the ardent fans.

BetBoom Dacha 2023: A Glimpse into the Past

Last year’s edition of BetBoom Dacha had a Prize Pool of $250,000, featuring seven invited teams from various regions.

Notable contenders included BetBoom Team, Evil Geniuses, beastcoast, TSM, 9Pandas, Team Secret, Gaimin Gladiators, and the online qualified team Nigma Galaxy.

The event marked a significant change in the Dota 2 tournament landscape.

Changes for BetBoom Dacha 2024

Now, organizers of tournaments, Fissure crank upscale and rewards exponentially for 2024, scheduling two identical million-dollar championships:

  • BetBoom Dacha Spring 2024, and,
  • BetBoom Dacha Autumn 2024

BetBoom Dacha 2024: Winter Edition

  • Open Qualifiers: January 3–6 – registrations are open to everyone
  • Closed Qualifiers: January 7–14
  • LAN Event (including 1v1):  final 8 teams – February 5–16 – in Dubai
  • Invited Teams:  Already, five teams have received coveted invitations: Team Spirit (Reigning TI11 champions), BetBoom Team, LGD, Aurora Gaming, and Gaimin Gladiators.

BetBoom Dacha 2024: Autumn Edition

  • Closed Qualifiers: September 18-24

Additionally, associated 1v1 solo tournaments will also dish out $100K to top performers. Considering the 2023 1v1 contest only paid $1K to winner Danil “gpk” Skutin, this signals major rewards growth.

Where Will Prestigious LAN Finals Take Place In 2024?

After hosting its inaugural LAN Finals in 2023 at the Palladium in London, BetBoom Dacha is reportedly shifting its glitzy Grand Finals destination to Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in 2024.

This auditorium offers cutting-edge production capacity alongside a 12,000 live audience able to enjoy arena comforts like hospitality suites and corporate boxes.
